This Is 2020

To say that my heart is filled with excitement and anticipation for what I know the Lord has for this new year and the decade to come is an understatement. There is a supernatural importance to this year, and it is crucial that we set ourselves in position to receive and live in all God has destined us to possess. With that said, Happy New Year and may 2020 be complete, lacking nothing short of the fullness of all that God has made available for you.

I want to share some points that will connect us with the words God has given for this next year and decade. “Twenty” in Hebrew symbolizes redemption and signifies a palm branch or an open hand. It also paints the image of something being complete, or the perfecting of a waiting period. The excitement in this is that after the waiting period is complete the reward is generous and full of God’s love. It is the fullness of time and the beginning of a new season and era.

In Acts 2 we read of the moment when a new era suddenly emerged. 2020 is such a year and will hold moments that will leave you astonished and amazed at the goodness of God. In Acts 2: 14-17, we read in part, “But Peter standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. …But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: And It shall come to pass” Listen to me partner, you will have ‘this is what was spoken’ expansions this year. Let me tell you why. God does nothing without first speaking it out and declaring it, for God is a God who calls those things that be not as though they were. This process is called vision casting.

2020 lends itself naturally to the idea of vision, and it’s by no mistake for what we see is what we speak, and by spiritual law what we speak manifests in our lives. The temptation that we face when God has cast vision is to allow the passing of time to steal our focus and blur our vision, producing doubt. We tend to believe that because it has not yet happened it must not be true or that it is for a time that is beyond us. This thought process corrupts your consecration and dedication to the Lord. God corrected Israel for thinking in this way. Ezekiel 12:22-25 reads, “”Son of man, what is this proverb that you people have about the land of Israel, which says, ‘The days are prolonged, and every vision fails’? 23 Tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I will lay this proverb to rest, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel.”’ But say to them, ‘“The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision24 For no more shall there be any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel. 25 For I am the Lord. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it,” says the Lord God.’” Wow!

Peter tells us that the antichrist thought process will continue and be present in our day as well. 1 Peter 3:3 says, “…knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” We must guard ourselves against such complacency and keep ourselves in a place of constant expectation.

The following are excerpts from what I’ve heard the Lord say concerning 2020 and beyond.

On May 30, 2019 the Lord said, “One of the things that you will begin to see in the church, as a whole, is immense hunger. The church will seem as if it can’t get enough of My word – people will begin to go outside of the normal routine to seek out that which will satisfy the spirit. There will be just before the return of Christ a demand on the power, those looking for more. Great victories and miracle will take place, I’m releasing an outpouring of My glory like never before. There is, My son, an urgency to be all in and be prepared. Many have seen it and sensed it. The world is about to go wild like never before, but do not be moved or concerned, for I’ve got you covered. I sensed the Lord saying, ‘You are in the last of the last days, I am coming quickly.’”

On Oct. 27, 2019 the Lord said, “2020 will be exponential in all capacities and areas with fulfillment in words spoken, so be ready and expectant. Doubt cannot be taken on the journey but must be left behind. This is it; everything is about to change, hold on. I’ve told you that immense hunger is coming to the body of Christ so be ready to serve fresh bread on the regular as they will be desiring the power and supernatural which flows from the intake of my Word and which is conducive of My Spirit. What is about to unfold will amaze you. It is truly a great outpouring of my Spirit. Your word is “submerge”. Submerge your thoughts, body, life, finances, family, and ministry/business in Me and My Spirit. Ask yourself, ‘Have I submerged this day in prayer and God’s Word?’ Only then will the operation work and flow.”

It will be a “Decade of Dominion” “Decade of Praise” and a “Decade of Declaring”.

The Lord asked me this question from Jeremiah 1:9-13 and I want to ask you the same question, “What do you see?” For when we see correctly by placing God’s word in our mouth, we will see the purpose and destiny He has for our lives.

We love you and want to express our greatest gratitude and thanks for making 2019 a blessed year. You are so valuable to us and we count it a huge honor to be connected by God to carry out His plan to impart, establish, and encourage people through the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you, and we hope to see you soon.
