“Knowing #NoLimits

I want to summarize the last two months before we continue with our study on God’s love. We’ve made mention of the priority of love by knowing the author of love, God. Intimacy with the Father is not just a push for Bible devotions and extended prayer times but is the key to unlocking the knowledge of His plan for our lives. We also settled the fact that love must be our foundation, our point of growth and institution of success. From here we begin to see our potential. We begin to grasp our true design and identity as the love in our hearts is awakened to all of its ability.

As we continue, I was thinking of areas in life that have enforced limits, such as credit cards, streets and highways. How fun would it be to spend without limit, with no responsibility to pay? Think about it, driving your car or motorcycle to its created potential without the possibilities of crashing or ruin? Both of these limits are given to provide for the protection of SELF. Why? Because where “self” is given priority in one’s life there will always be recession and ruin. Galatians tells us that someone living by his recreated spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; against such, there is NO LAW. No law, because love has cleared the debt and released the throttle of power that make the law of no effect. Restriction, limit and law were created to prevent self-ruin. Limits control chaos, but in God, in love, there is no confusion or disorder, for love sets out to provide, protect and promote the wellbeing of everybody, forgetting about self-preservation.

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God (love) is not the author of confusion, but of peace…

We are born of God, birthed by love and as we step into this new nature, by grace and through faith, we will live in the position that is given liberally and supplied adequately by the Spirit of God in all its fullness and perfection.

Ephesians 1:23 (NLT) And the church is His body, it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.

As we meditate and renew our minds to the truth of God’s love and abandon self, we will know no bounds. We will step into the place of #nolimits and abundance in all things.

It is the introduction of God’s will for our lives, for he who does the will of God abides forever or lives without end or limit.

From the beginning, Jesus was about His Father’s business. Jesus was never about Himself for he was not seeking His own will, but the will of the Father who sent Him. This is the key to no limit. God’s love in us will never insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking. It never does according to its own will. The freedom that is ushered in by the releasing of self and its care is refreshing and revitalizing. We become drained and fatigued finding our own natural limits and resources when we take the care of self as a daily duty and focus. We are called to live in Him and as we do, we will see the natural barriers removed.

1 John 4:9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him

I encourage you to read the book of 1 John several times this month. Meditate on God’s love for you and ask God to open your eyes of understanding to see the infinite scale that He has for you and His plan for your life. Begin to take thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ that try to bring limit to your business, ministry or home. Mandy and I are committed to live by faith through love. To live in a place that truly knows no limits. God has called us all to BIG things that will only be accomplished as we live through Him.
